After Kian's Death "Iba sa totoong Resulta" of War on Drugs - PNP

PNP spokesperson Chief Superintendent Dionardo Carlos said Monday that the incidents of Delos Santos death were just 0.2 per cent of anti-drugs operations.

MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine National Police (PNP) appealed to the public not to overthrow the death of Kian Delos Santos to say the Government's war against drugs.


Carlos statement, "This is separate incident. Huwag natin -generalize na because of one incident, lahat ng police operation will result as same as to Kian".

"Let us not generalize the incident involving the minor. Iba po 'yan sa pang araw-araw na nagaganap," Carlos added.

He said since the start of the campaign against illegal drugs the public has been able to walk freely without fear.

"Ngayon ang tanong 'pag ikaw ba ay lumabas ngayon ikaw ba ay naho-holdap?, 'pag lumabas ka sa gabi ngayon ikaw ba ay nare-rape ng adik?. Ngayon ba sa mga panahon na ito ay nabubugbog ka ng adik?" Carlos added.


He also boasts of 1,039 million surrendered since July 2016, while 90, 000 suspected drug suspects are alived and in prison. "Ito po ang resulta" Carlos said.

Carlos said that they have lost their lives to 70 in addition to 196 who have been seriously injured. Many people were angry with the death of Delos Santos in the hands of the personal of the Caloocan City police.

The senate, the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), the commission on human rights and the Philippine National Police (PNP) will conduct separate investagations.
