Ryan Agoncillo, Suffered a Knee Injury in a Motorcycle Accident

MANILA, Philippines — Ryan Agoncillo suffered a knee injury in a motorcycle training accident on Sunday, October 29, 2017. The injury requires surgery and Ryan Will be out unable to perform his hosting duties on the longest running variety show in the Philippines the Eat Bulaga.

Ryan emotionally said in the public,

"Oo, nagpaalam ako pansamantagal. I'll have surgery November 05. Hopefully after 2 solid weeks of rest, I'm good to go back. But if recovery is retarded, I'll be back December 01. Mami-miss ko ang mga Dabarkads!"



Ryan is an avid motorcyclist. In fact, he and his team were reportedly the first Filipinos to ride through the Kardung La, one of the highest in the entire world. His wife, Juddy Ann Santos, was understandably very proud of his achievement.

Ryan shared, "I drained about 44cc of fluid from my knee to relieve pain and swelling. Also had an MRI to search for tears in the joint and also had my lower back checked na din."



He is slated for surgery this coming Sunday, November 05, 2017. Ryan expects to be out for two weeks but clarified that he might be out until December 01.

Juday exclaimed:

"Good job Team Pilipinas! And bubb, were sooooo proud of you! Ang galing! I can't wait to see you!"
