[BREAKING]: The 'ANU' Campus Attack leaves several injured, Suspect Arrested!

A man has been arrested after attacking and injuring multiple people at the Australian National University (ANU).

The man who was a student at the university, allegedly entered a classroom at 9:15 a.m. on Friday and assaulted four other students.

ACT Policing confirmed they had the man in custody and there was no ongoing threat to public safety.

There are multiple ambulances and police vehicles on the scene.

"The University's first priority is the welfare of our staff and students," the ANU said in a statement on Friday.

"Counselling services are being provided to all those affected." ANU added.
