AlDub Nation Dumepensa sa sinabi ng isang Basher na ang AlDub Loveteam, Boring na raw ang 'Kilig at Magic'

Make no mistake, I love the AlDub tandem. But it seems that after two years, they have reached a plateu. They have made their mark as a tandem nang mapuno nila ang Philippine Arena during the height of their popularity.

They have cornered every major brand as their endorsement and their television show base was on an all-time-high in terms of ratings. 

But after two years, whereto AlDub?


After a box-office hit movie na 'Imagine You and Me' and the teleserye that was kind'a forgettable at parang hindi nag-elevate ng status nila as teleserye flag bearers ng GMA Network, it seems the tandem needs a reinvetion or a level up.

How do you do that?

Una muna, individually, kailangan nilang mag-level-up. Swerte lang ni Alden that he has a 'Martial Law Special' called "Alaala", that will at least remind people of his core a dramatic actor bago siya nakipag-love team.

Sa pagiging singer at performer. Kailangan pa rin niyang magsanay para maging tops sa field na yun, buti at nagbuwis buhay siyang performance sa Eat Bulaga anniversary kaya nakita ang other side niya. 

Pero what's next?

Naging desirable siya sa mata ng mga tao nang ma-link siya sa mga katulad nina Jake Ejercito at Sef Cadayona, pero hindi yan kaaya-aya sa AlDub fans.

Alden has remained asexual. Walang nabablitang nali-link sa kanya in the guise of concentrating on his career. The tandem doesn't need to answer any or all the issues hurled at them. All they need is a good work. An outstanding media output that would test, not only their popularity but their staying power as artists, and yes, their excellence.

Lahat tayo ay nag-aabang na sana, yung follow up film na nila ang kasagutan. Pero kung hindi pa nila nasisimulan yan at nag-decide na rin na hindi na sa abroad nila gagawa ang shoot, malabong maipalabas ito this year.

Marahil, may punto na rin na dito na lang sa Pinas gawin ang pelikula (para mailapit sila ulit sa kanilang fans at mas endearing at mas nationalistic pa kapag may local color).

Pero mas imperative ang chemistry ng dalawang lead stars sina Alden Richards at Maine Mendoza, they can act it out and fake it, but it shows. Kita ng supporters if everything is just for show.

Sana, mag step-up in all aspects, para kung hindi man maging sila sa totoong buhay, maging napakahusay nilang artista para mabuhay nilang ulit ang 'Kilig at Magic' sa mata ng kanilang supporters.
